Kirk Weisz: Ordination to the Priesthood in the Church of England, 26 September 2021

It was with great joy that the Bergen congregation and family and friends of Rev'd Kirk Weisz witnessed his ordination to the priesthood in the Church of England. Suffragan Bishop David Hamid presided over the service which was held in Bergen's own Mariakirken. Music was provided by a small choir comprised of singers from both the Anglican and Lutheran (Norwegian) communities in Bergen, and Karstein Askeland on the organ. It was a lovely service, broadcast live via Zoom so that Chaplaincy members and other friends within Norway and Kirk's family and friends in the United States could participate.
